In 2006, I completed my Master of Education at Griffith University. I split my study between the fields of education leadership and ICT in education. As part of the ICT course work, I completed two projects - a Flash-based learning object and a game-based virtual learning environment. I plan to pursue further study in virtual learning environments.

Virtual Learning Environments

The Exploring Ancient Wonders: The Parthenon project was designed for Middle School students to explore a reconstruction of the Parthenon and learn via a virtual excursion. The Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) was constructed to run using the Unreal Engine 2 Runtime, as freely version of the engine used to create Unreal Tournament 2003/2004.

I have developed a WWW site that contains more information.

Flash-Based Learning Object

The Reasons for the Seasons project represented an opportunity for me to develop, using Macromedia Flash, a interactive learning object. A copy of the assignment I had to write about the development of the learning object is also available.
