ONS-Icarus
Strategy Video/Demo Zei of the 1G-UT squad has prepared a video to show players how to turn the tide of an onslaught match on Icarus, reguardless of who's winning. He gives you numerous tips as well as and incredible show as he gains "Rampage" in under the first two-minutes of the video and ultimately, turns the entire game around for the red team whom currently has lost all their nodes.
CTF-Confrontation "It seemed simple enough - gather two teams, give each a base and expect the teams to co-exist peacefully - but someone HAD to steal a flag!" My latest map for UT2004 - CTF-Confrontation - has been released and is available for download.
This is a map designed for 6 to 10 players. It features two bases facing each other across an open midfield. Players can cross the linking bridge, sneak across at ground level and 'catch some serious air' using the jump pads. The exterior and interior layout provides for intense action with a diverse range of opportunities for attacking and defensive game play. It is a small deathmatch map that encompasses the game play style of an atrium map, but involves both interior and exterior environments. UT2004.com.au has just posted an interview with me. It covers a diverse range of topics, including: sources of inspiration and motivation for level design, information about some of my commerical projects, and what it it like being a contract level designer. DM-1on1-Rivalry
